ECO EVO Function

The innovative ECO EVO function with CoreTECH memorizes your habits to provide hot water, while allowing you to easily save up to 14% on your electricity bill.

Shower Ready

Every time the Velis Evo heats the water enough to ensure the first hot shower, the "Shower Ready" symbol lights up on the screen.

Dual Tank Technology

The dual-tank technology heats water faster than a traditional water heater. Each tank is equipped with a heating element and can therefore be heated independently, ensuring the ideal amount of water is always ready for use. This specific technology allows you to get enough hot water for a shower in just 50 minutes (considering a shower from 48 to 40°C and an inlet water temperature of 15°C).

Anti-Legionella System

The stored water favors the growth of Legionella bacteria. To ensure maximum safety and hygiene, Ariston's new products with the ABS package come with an anti-Legionella function. If the water stored in the water heater never reaches 65°C for 30 consecutive days, this function performs a full heating cycle at this temperature to clean the water.

Anti-scald system

In case of thermostat failure, the water heater stops functioning, preventing the water from overheating up to 100°C (as was the case with conventional products) and protecting the user from potential accidental burns.

Anti-Frost System

If the water heater is connected to the power supply, the heating element starts working when the temperature of the stored water drops below 5°C. With this system, we can avoid potential breakages due to expansion caused by the freezing of the water inside the water heater.

Self-diagnosis system

In case of a malfunction, the water heater displays a light indicator on the front panel that shows the type of problem that has occurred. This allows for quicker intervention to restore functionality.

Anti-Dry Heating System

It is a protection system that does not start the water heater if there is no water in the tank. In this way, internal overheating and the breaking of internal components are avoided. The system guarantees a safer installation and maintenance.

Active Electric Safety Function

At the end of each water heating cycle, the water heater disconnects doubly from the electrical line. This way, it guarantees complete safety.

Installation

The water heater can be installed horizontally on a wall. Horizontal installation provides easy maintenance, but care is needed when installing the base on the wall.

Water Heater VS Electric Boiler

The water heater operates with electric energy, where the resistance inside the water heater is heated and thus the water is warmed.

On the other hand, the electric boiler, in addition to heating the water through electric energy, has an internal exchanger (coil) with the ability to connect to the central heating system, to assist in the production of hot water. This reduces the use of electric energy.

This means that once connected, the hot water produced by, for example, the oil boiler, heats not only the radiators but also the water in the water heater, thereby promoting cost savings during the winter months.

    I have had this water heater since 2018. Until last year, it was working quite satisfactorily. However, for the past year, it started to take longer to heat the water. It has come to needing about an hour of operation to heat water for just one person to take a shower! The reason was that the heating elements and anodes needed to be replaced because the heating elements had accumulated scale after so many years (these water heaters have two heating elements each). The problem is that these two heating elements, along with two anodes, cost 155 euros!! That is, they cost about half the price of the water heater, or about the price of a classic new round water heater. If I had known, when I bought this particular water heater, that the spare parts are THAT expensive, I would never have bought it.
    UPDATE April 2025: Even though I replaced the heating elements last year, the water heater provides hot water for 3 minutes, and then the water freezes. That is, it does exactly the same as before I changed the heating elements. It will probably be thrown away, and never again such a water heater.

Δεν καίει τίποτα σε σχέση με εναν συμβατικό. 1.5 kw ειναι. Δεν τον ανοιγοκλείνεις. Βάζεις το θερμοκρασία που θέλεις και τον αφήνεις. Οταν μετα απο ντουζ αδειάσει και πέσει η θερμοκρασια κανει κανα 20λεπτο να την ξαναφέρει

ερώτηση πόσο χρόνο θέλει να ζεστάνει από την θερμοκρασία της εκάστοτε παροχής νερού μέχρι να κάνεις ντουζ; δεν θέλω να το έχω μόνιμα ανοιχτό. πόσο γρήγορα θα ζεστάνει από την στιγμή που θα σηκώσω την ασφάλεια; γιατί έχω έναν 4000w το οποίο το νερό το ζεστενει σε 16 λεπτά και είναι έτοιμο να κάνεις μπάνιο.

Αν δεν θέλεις να τον έχεις μονιμα ανοικτό πάρε εναν συμβατικό θερμοσίφωνα τότε.
Δεν καταλαβαίνω γιατι ο καθένας ρωτάει το ίδιο πράγμα. Η δουλεια του velis ειναι να σου προσφέρει μονιμα ζεστό νερο κ για αυτό έχει κ πολυ μικρότερη ισχυ απο εναν συμβατικο (1,5kw vs 4kw). Δεν ειναι για να τον ανοίγεις όποτε θέλεις εσύ γιατι παίρνει περισσότερη ώρα να ζεστάνει απο εναν κανονικό
