Positives:
+ Excellent switch, easy to install, for those who have basic knowledge of electrical work and know what they are doing!
+ It is small enough to fit behind single switches. Once you connect it, you follow the steps and it syncs immediately to your Wi-Fi and has a quick response both through the Sonoff app and Google Home & Alexa.
+ This is my first experience with intermediate switches and I would say I am excited. Currently, I am using it for turning lights on and off remotely, "control," and scheduling. The eWelink app is set up so that even a novice can run some scenarios. Without having any experience overall, it seems satisfactory to me!
+ Generally, Sonoff products, although economical, are quite quality in relation to their cost; they also have an ecosystem that is obviously quite popular and evolving, making it clearly more accessible for the average person who wants to engage with a smart ecosystem compared to Aqara or Shelly.
Negatives:
- There are two negatives, for which the switch is not to blame but our own installations. It requires a neutral (N), and most houses in Greece only have it in the sockets and not in the switches. If there is a socket below the switch, you can "give" it, otherwise from the box.
- Also, although it is quite small, it does not fit in all of our boxes; unfortunately, they are excessively small for such switches. I have installed 3 Minir4 and 5 ZBmini L2, which are a bit thicker (that work without a neutral but require the Zigbee bridge). Where it was a simple switch, I had no issue with space behind with organized wiring, they closed even if marginally. I am referring to single switches from Legrand and Schneider.
- However, when there are other wires coming down behind the switch, then "digging" is the only way out :(!
Conclusion for those who have some dilemma.
Without knowing too much, when I was looking around, I "fell" on the Minir4 and the ZBminiL2. I bought some pieces from both! Each has its positives and negatives. The Minir4 is: cheaper, more immediate in response, connects directly to Wi-Fi, and is a bit thinner than the ZBminiL2. Negative: it requires a neutral; also, if someone wants to install multiple switches and is with a provider router, it is likely to struggle... there you obviously go for mesh, where essentially after the cost is one or the other with the ZBminiL2 + Zigbee bridge solution.

+Εξαιρετικός διακόπτης εύκολος στην τοποθέτηση,για όσους έχουν βασικές γνώσεις στα ηλεκτρολογικα και ξέρουν τι κάνουν!
+Ειναι αρκετά μικρός για να χωρέσει πισω απο μονούς διακοπτες.Τωρα εφόσον τον συνδέσετε κάνετε τα βήματα και συγχρονίζει αμέσως στο wifi σας και έχει γρήγορη απόκριση τόσο μέσω της εφαρμογής της Sonoff οσο και Google home & Alexa.
+Πρώτη μου εμπειρία με ενδιάμεσους διακόπτες και θα έλεγα ότι είμαι ενθουσιασμενος.Προς το παρόν η χρήση που κάνω είναι για άνοιγμα κλείσιμο φώτων απομακρυσμενα, "ελεγχο" και χρονοπρογραμματισμο.
Το app της eWelink ειναι στημένο έτσι ώστε και ένας ανίδεος να μπορεί να τρέξει κάποια σενάρια.Χωρίς και εγώ να εδώ κάποια εμπειρία συνολικά σε αυτά μου μοιάζει ικανοποιητικό!
+ Γενικότερα τα προϊόντα της Sonoff παρότι οικονομικά,θα έλεγα ότι είναι αρκετά ποιοτικά σε σχέση με το κόστος τους,παράλληλα εχουν ένα οικοσύστημα το οποίο προφανώς είναι αρκετά δημοφιλές και εξελίσσεται και για τον μέσο άνθρωπο που θέλει να ασχοληθεί με ένα smart οικοσύστημα ειναι σαφώς πιο προσιτά απο aqara ή shelly.
Αρνητικά
-Υπάρχουν δύο αρνητικά,για τα οποία δεν φταιει ο διακόπτης αλλα οι δικές μας εγκαταστάσεις
Χρειάζεται ουδετερος(Ν) ,τα περισσότερα σπιτια στην Ελλάδα εχουν μονο στις πριζες και οχι στους διακοπτες. Αν υπάρχει πριζα από κάτω από τον διακόπτη ,μπορείς να "δώσεις" ,αλλιώς από το κουτί
-Επίσης παροτι ειναι αρκετά μικρό δεν χωραει σε ολα τα δικά μας κουτιά,δυστυχώς είναι υπερβολικά μικρά για τέτοια switch,έχω τοποθετήσει 3 Minir4
και 5 ZBmini l2,τα όποια ειναι λιγο πιο χοντρα(που δουλεύουν χωρίς ουδετερο,αλλα με απαραίτητο το Zigbee bridge),οπου ήταν απλός διακόπτης δεν είχα θέμα με τον χώρο από πίσω με νοικοκυρεμενη καλωδίωση,εκλειναν εστω και οριακά.Αναφερομαι σε μονό διακόπτη των legrand και schneider.
-Ομως οταν πισω απο τον διακόπτη κατεβαινουν και αλλα καλωδια τοτε το "σκαψιμο" ειναι μονόδρομος :( !
Συμπέρασμα για οσους εχουν κάποιο δίλημμα.
Χωρίς να ξέρω πολλά πολλά οταν ψαχτηκα "επεσα" στο minir4 και στο zbminiL2 .Αγορασα καποια κομμάτια και απο τα δυο!Το κάθε ένα έχει τα Θετικά του και τα αρνητικά του.
Το Minir4 ειναι:
φθηνότερο ,πιο άμεσο στην απόκριση,συνδέεται απευθείας στο Wifi ειναι λιγο πιο λεπτό απο το zbminil2.Αρνητικο: απαιτεί ουδετερο,επίσης αν κάποιος θέλει να βάλει πολλούς διακόπτες και ειναι με Router παροχου,το πιθανότερο είναι να γονατίσει....εκεί προφανως πας για mesh οπου ουσιαστικά μετά το κοστος είναι μία ή άλλη με την λύση zbminil2 + zigbee bridge
Ελπίζω να ήμουν κατατοπιστικος και ζητώ συγνώμη για το σεντόνι!
