Area of Upper Chalandri, in Athens, at the foot of Hymettus. Although the distance from the antennas of the stations in this specific area is not large, and from the roof of the duplex where I live there is a line of sight to the antennas, none of the indoor antennas I had tried (even those with the highest gain) gave me a signal, resulting in me returning all of them.
I had specifically bought this one for another use, to have it with a small portable television, as due to its size it could fit in the television's carrying case.
However, a damage to the external antenna led me to use it, even though I believed that since the other stronger and larger indoor antennas I had tried did not work, this one could not do any better.
The result pleasantly surprised me. Not only did it catch a signal from all the channels on the first try, but it also received the HD broadcasts of the channels without any "cutting" in the image and sound. And this despite the fact that it is placed less than a meter away from the wireless modem-router of the house. Of course, I should note that the attempt with the other antennas was made about 1-1.5 years ago, so I keep in mind the possibility that the stations may have increased the signal strength from the antennas of Hymettus.
The only "limitation" I noticed (which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars) is the fact that it needs to be close to a window to work smoothly, meaning it should not be, for example, behind the television and between the television and the wall, because there it probably will not work. Also, its base has a magnet, but personally, I would prefer it to be stronger so that the base does not need to be mostly covered by metal for the magnet to hold well (as you should also consider the additional weight from the cable). If I wanted to... "whine" a bit, I would say that I would like a carrying case as well, but at 14.9 euros which I bought it for 2.5 years ago (today you can find it for about 1 euro more), I shouldn't ask for everything...
Finally, even though I haven't tried it this way, I assume it can work without power (obviously with significantly lower performance, as is logical), but since the power cable ends in a male USB plug, you can use it with power even inside the car (from a mobile phone charger for the car) if you have a portable television, as the cable is long enough to place the antenna to stick with the magnetic base on the roof of the car, and then run the cable inside the car through the window.
I would recommend it without hesitation, as the build quality is excellent. And if you find that it doesn't meet your needs, you can always return it to the store.

The antenna continues to function as I described above, I just noticed that its performance is significantly affected when it is within 2 - 2.5 meters of... a running vacuum cleaner! At one point, my mother-in-law vacuumed right next to it, and immediately the image "pixelated" completely and did not return. Once it was moved more than 2-2.5 meters away, it returned.

Και αυτό παρά το γεγονός ότι είναι τοποθετημένη σε απόσταση μικρότερη από ένα μέτρο από το ασύρματο modem - router του σπιτιού. Βέβαια να σημειώσω ότι η απόπειρα με τις άλλες κεραίες είχε γίνει πριν από 1-1,5 περίπου χρόνο, οπότε κρατάω και το ενδεχόμενο οι σταθμοί να αύξησαν την ισχύ του σήματος από τις κεραίες του Υμηττού.
Ο μόνος «περιορισμός» που είδα (γι΄ αυτό και βάζω και 4 αντί για 5 αστέρια) είναι το γεγονός ότι θέλει να βρίσκεται κοντά σε ένα παράθυρο για να δουλεύει απρόσκοπτα, να μην είναι δηλαδή, για παράδειγμα, πίσω από την τηλεόραση και ανάμεσα στην τηλεόραση και τον τοίχο, γιατί εκεί πιθανότατα δε θα δουλέψει.
Επίσης, η βάση της έχει μεν μαγνήτη, αλλά προσωπικά θα τον ήθελα λόγω πιο δυνατό ώστε να μη χρειάζεται η βάση να καλύπτεται στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος της από το μέταλλο για να «πιάνει» καλά ο μαγνήτης (καθώς θα πρέπει να υπολογίσετε και το επιπλέον βάρος από το καλώδιο).
Αν ήθελα να... «γκρινιάξω» λίγο θα έλεγα ότι θα ήθελα και μία θήκη μεταφοράς, αλλά με 14,9 ευρώ που την πήρα πριν από 2,5 χρόνια (σήμερα τη βρίσκετε περίπου 1 ευρώ ακριβότερα) μην τα θέλω και όλα...
Τέλος, αν κα δεν τη δοκίμασα έτσι, υποθέτω πως μπορεί να δουλέψει και χωρίς τροφοδοσία (προφανώς με αρκετά χαμηλότερη απόδοση, όπως είναι λογικό), αλλά επειδή το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας καταλήγει σε αρσενικό USB βύσμα, μπορείτε να τη χρησιμοποιείτε με τροφοδοσία ακόμα και μέσα στο αυτοκίνητο (από ένα φορτιστή κινητού για αυτοκίνητο) αν έχετε κάποια φορητή τηλεόραση, καθώς το καλώδιο είναι αρκετά μακρύ και μπορείτε να βάλετε την κεραία να κολλήσει με τη μαγνητική βάση στην οροφή του αυτοκινήτου, και να βάλετε μετά το καλώδιο μέσα στο αυτοκίνητο από το παράθυρο.
Θα τη σύστηνα χωρίς επιφύλαξη, καθώς και η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι εξαιρετική. Και αν δείτε ότι δεν σας κάνει τη δουλειά σας μπορείτε πάντα να την επιστρέψετε το κατάστημα.

Η κεραία συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί όπως περιέγραψα πιο πάνω, απλώς διαπίστωσα ότι η απόδοσή της επηρεάζεται αισθητά όταν βρεθεί σε απόσταση μικρότερη των 2 - 2,5 μέτρων από... ηλεκτρική σκούπα που λειτουργεί! Κάποια στιγμή η πεθερά μου έβαλε σκούπα εκεί δίπλα, και αμέσως η εικόνα «πιξέλιασε» ολόκληρη και δεν επανερχόταν. Μόλις απομακρύνθηκε πάνω από 2-2,5 μέτρα επανήλθε.
For my area (Komotini, Rodopi), it is very good, it just loses its signal when there are Wi-Fi antennas nearby. Otherwise, even with bad weather, it has no issues. It is worth its money

Έχει έναν μαγνήτη από κάτω από τη βάση που μπορεί να σηκώσει το βάρος της υπό οποιαδήποτε κλίση, υπό την προϋπόθεση ότι η επιφάνεια που θέλετε να εφαρμοστεί (σίδερο δηλαδή) θα είναι χάλυβας, και όχι άλλο μέταλλο όπως πχ αλουμίνιο, και θα καλύπτει το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της βάσης.

Η κεραία συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί όπως περιέγραψα πιο πάνω, απλώς διαπίστωσα ότι η απόδοσή της επηρεάζεται αισθητά όταν βρεθεί σε απόσταση μικρότερη των 2 - 2,5 μέτρων από... ηλεκτρική σκούπα που λειτουργεί! Κάποια στιγμή η πεθερά μου έβαλε σκούπα εκεί δίπλα, και αμέσως η εικόνα «πιξέλιασε» ολόκληρη και δεν επανερχόταν. Μόλις απομακρύνθηκε πάνω από 2-2,5 μέτρα επανήλθε.
For my area (Komotini, Rodopi), it is very good, it just loses its signal when there are Wi-Fi antennas nearby. Otherwise, even with bad weather, it has no issues. It is worth its money

Area of Upper Chalandri, in Athens, at the foot of Hymettus. Although the distance from the antennas of the stations in this specific area is not large, and from the roof of the duplex where I live there is a line of sight to the antennas, none of the indoor antennas I had tried (even those with the highest gain) gave me a signal, resulting in me returning all of them.
I had specifically bought this one for another use, to have it with a small portable television, as due to its size it could fit in the television's carrying case.
However, a damage to the external antenna led me to use it, even though I believed that since the other stronger and larger indoor antennas I had tried did not work, this one could not do any better.
The result pleasantly surprised me. Not only did it catch a signal from all the channels on the first try, but it also received the HD broadcasts of the channels without any "cutting" in the image and sound. And this despite the fact that it is placed less than a meter away from the wireless modem-router of the house. Of course, I should note that the attempt with the other antennas was made about 1-1.5 years ago, so I keep in mind the possibility that the stations may have increased the signal strength from the antennas of Hymettus.
The only "limitation" I noticed (which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars) is the fact that it needs to be close to a window to work smoothly, meaning it should not be, for example, behind the television and between the television and the wall, because there it probably will not work. Also, its base has a magnet, but personally, I would prefer it to be stronger so that the base does not need to be mostly covered by metal for the magnet to hold well (as you should also consider the additional weight from the cable). If I wanted to... "whine" a bit, I would say that I would like a carrying case as well, but at 14.9 euros which I bought it for 2.5 years ago (today you can find it for about 1 euro more), I shouldn't ask for everything...
Finally, even though I haven't tried it this way, I assume it can work without power (obviously with significantly lower performance, as is logical), but since the power cable ends in a male USB plug, you can use it with power even inside the car (from a mobile phone charger for the car) if you have a portable television, as the cable is long enough to place the antenna to stick with the magnetic base on the roof of the car, and then run the cable inside the car through the window.
I would recommend it without hesitation, as the build quality is excellent. And if you find that it doesn't meet your needs, you can always return it to the store.
UPDATE 12/1/25
The antenna continues to function as I described above, I just noticed that its performance is significantly affected when it is within 2 - 2.5 meters of... a running vacuum cleaner! At one point, my mother-in-law vacuumed right next to it, and immediately the image "pixelated" completely and did not return. Once it was moved more than 2-2.5 meters away, it returned.
Περιοχή άνω Χολαργός, στην Αθήνα, στους πρόποδες του Υμηττού. Παρότι η απόσταση από τις κεραίες των σταθμών στη συγκεκριμένη περιοχή δεν είναι μεγάλη, και από την ταράτσα της διπλοκατοικίας που είμαι υπάρχει οπτική επαφή με τις κεραίες, καμία εσωτερική κεραία που είχα δοκιμάσει (ακόμα και αυτές με τη μεγαλύτερη δυνατή απολαβή) δε μου έδινε σήμα, με αποτέλεσμα να τις επιστρέφω όλες πίσω.
Τη συγκεκριμένη την είχα πάρει για άλλη χρήση, για να την έχω μαζί με μία μικρή φορητή τηλεόραση, αφού λόγω μεγέθους μπορούσε να μπει στο βαλιτσάκι της τηλεόρασης.
Όμως μία ζημιά στην εξωτερική κεραία με οδήγησε να τη χρησιμοποιήσω, παρότι πίστευα ότι από τη στιγμή που οι άλλες ισχυρότερες και μεγαλύτερου μεγέθους εσωτερικές κεραίες που είχα δοκιμάσει δεν έπιαναν, αποκλείεται αυτή να έκανε κάτι καλύτερο.
Το αποτέλεσμα με εξέπληξε ευχάριστα. Όχι μόνο έπιασε σήμα από όλα τα κανάλια με την πρώτη, αλλά έπιασε και την HD εκπομπή των καναλιών χωρίς «κοψίματα» στην εικόνα και τον ήχο.
Και αυτό παρά το γεγονός ότι είναι τοποθετημένη σε απόσταση μικρότερη από ένα μέτρο από το ασύρματο modem - router του σπιτιού. Βέβαια να σημειώσω ότι η απόπειρα με τις άλλες κεραίες είχε γίνει πριν από 1-1,5 περίπου χρόνο, οπότε κρατάω και το ενδεχόμενο οι σταθμοί να αύξησαν την ισχύ του σήματος από τις κεραίες του Υμηττού.
Ο μόνος «περιορισμός» που είδα (γι΄ αυτό και βάζω και 4 αντί για 5 αστέρια) είναι το γεγονός ότι θέλει να βρίσκεται κοντά σε ένα παράθυρο για να δουλεύει απρόσκοπτα, να μην είναι δηλαδή, για παράδειγμα, πίσω από την τηλεόραση και ανάμεσα στην τηλεόραση και τον τοίχο, γιατί εκεί πιθανότατα δε θα δουλέψει.
Επίσης, η βάση της έχει μεν μαγνήτη, αλλά προσωπικά θα τον ήθελα λόγω πιο δυνατό ώστε να μη χρειάζεται η βάση να καλύπτεται στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος της από το μέταλλο για να «πιάνει» καλά ο μαγνήτης (καθώς θα πρέπει να υπολογίσετε και το επιπλέον βάρος από το καλώδιο).
Αν ήθελα να... «γκρινιάξω» λίγο θα έλεγα ότι θα ήθελα και μία θήκη μεταφοράς, αλλά με 14,9 ευρώ που την πήρα πριν από 2,5 χρόνια (σήμερα τη βρίσκετε περίπου 1 ευρώ ακριβότερα) μην τα θέλω και όλα...
Τέλος, αν κα δεν τη δοκίμασα έτσι, υποθέτω πως μπορεί να δουλέψει και χωρίς τροφοδοσία (προφανώς με αρκετά χαμηλότερη απόδοση, όπως είναι λογικό), αλλά επειδή το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας καταλήγει σε αρσενικό USB βύσμα, μπορείτε να τη χρησιμοποιείτε με τροφοδοσία ακόμα και μέσα στο αυτοκίνητο (από ένα φορτιστή κινητού για αυτοκίνητο) αν έχετε κάποια φορητή τηλεόραση, καθώς το καλώδιο είναι αρκετά μακρύ και μπορείτε να βάλετε την κεραία να κολλήσει με τη μαγνητική βάση στην οροφή του αυτοκινήτου, και να βάλετε μετά το καλώδιο μέσα στο αυτοκίνητο από το παράθυρο.
Θα τη σύστηνα χωρίς επιφύλαξη, καθώς και η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι εξαιρετική. Και αν δείτε ότι δεν σας κάνει τη δουλειά σας μπορείτε πάντα να την επιστρέψετε το κατάστημα.
