It is the closest in taste to coffee from beans that I have tried.

As for quantity, the espresso dose seems small to me, I usually make two doses to drink a Freddo, so for me the package is more like 50 coffees rather than 100.
With 0.33 x 2, the coffee comes out to about 0.66 euros.
Now, with the prices that some instant coffees have reached (see Azera), I don't see any reason not to switch to capsules.

Apart from the initial cost of the machine, in the long run the coffee itself won't have much difference in cost, but it will have a huge difference in quality and taste.
