Description

Description

Wood Stove

This is an easy and economical solution to heat your home or cottage. Its installation is simple and low-cost, as is its maintenance. You can even use wood briquettes.

It consists of the combustion chamber, the ash collection container at the bottom, and the chimney. It can be placed in any space at a certain distance from the wall to properly install the chimney. As a general rule, the better the space is ventilated, the more efficient and safe the use of the stove will be.

It is suitable for heating a space of approximately 41 to 60 square meters.

Material

It is made of steel, which means it is durable and heats up very quickly. However, the heat it accumulates is lost just as quickly after the fire goes out.

Efficiency rating

Its efficiency rating (77.8%) is the percentage of fuel that is converted into useful heat. The higher the efficiency rating, the better the stove, as heat losses are minimized.

Instructions for the proper use of the wood stove

  • We use dry wood, at least 2 years old
  • We initially place a small amount of wood and gradually increase it.
  • We clean the surfaces when the wood stove is cold.
  • We clean the glass when it is cold.
  • Dry (up to 20% moisture) and dense (olive, oak, fir, beech) wood is much more efficient in burning.

Achieving the desired performance depends

  • From the selected fuel with the necessary calorific value and its moisture
  • The intensity of the combustion and the continuous supply
  • The regulation of the primary and secondary air
  • The adjustment of the chimney draft
  • The location where the stove is placed for adequate heat exchange as well as other related parameters

We got it for the village last year. This is the second year of use and the outside temperature in winter reaches zero. The house has many losses, the space is about 40 square meters and despite that, it keeps it warm to the point that you can walk around in short sleeves. I consider the wood consumption to be normal-economical (the type of wood definitely plays a role). I would choose it again without a second thought.

Quite good construction. Heats the space very well. Much more efficient than oil. The only negative thing I find is that you constantly need to add wood... not so much in terms of consumption because the logs are small due to the burning space, you just need to be there, you can't spend the night with fire.... it will go out.

It has saved me during the winter, I have free firewood from the olive trees and I burn it all winter long, we sit at home in short sleeves. And even if I didn't have free firewood, it would still be very economical because good wood keeps charcoal

I bought the stove a month and a half ago.
I placed it in the middle of the living room kitchen, which is about 60 square meters. The flue has a distance of 7 meters to the exit and a height of 2.80 meters from the floor with a slight upward slope. This made the stove draw very well and it does not smoke. I operate it with a piece of wood each time, as soon as it turns into charcoal I put the next one. The room reaches full temperature after about 1 hour. With an outside temperature of 9°C, it gives me 21-22°C in the room with all the rooms open, including about 60 square meters.
It is easy to clean and I empty the ashtray every day. The only thing I can't do is adjust the air for combustion to have control over it. As for the negatives, the handle of the door is wooden and when it is hot, you can't hold it without a cloth.
It is good and worth its money.

It was installed in a 25sqm warehouse, with its own f130 drill and a height of 3 meters. It pulls very well, has comfortable burning space, heats up quickly, and transmits temperature very well in the room. It only smelled the first time I turned it on, and since then I have had no problem with odor. I was very impressed with the glass, which is quite large, and the fact that it has not blackened at all. If combined with an inox drill, it is very beautiful.!!

It was installed in a 60 sqm house in a central location, a chimney was made with a sufficient horizontal section, but we raised it high outside so that it has good draft, and ultimately it has very good draft. With proper dry wood and proper operation of the stove, meaning open dampers at first and then closed, you have a continuous heat output with low wood consumption. Mineral wool with aluminum was placed on the wall behind it to prevent the wall from boiling, this helped in reflecting the heat towards the room instead of the wall retaining it. Unexpectedly proper operation for its price and size. The house has no insulation and when it is lit, you can comfortably move around the house with temperatures of 18-20 degrees in the rooms.

Awesome stove!! Finally, we can walk around in short sleeves.
I installed it next to the fireplace chimney, with a 130mm diameter. It has a large burning space. And I can comfortably roast chestnuts and potatoes on top!
I simply got rid of oil and electricity!
For the first burn, it takes a while for the smell from the stove and the fumes to dissipate. It's usually good to do it on a nice day, so we can open doors and windows.

Excellent stove, the humidity disappeared from the house. Just be careful when buying the pipes, most stores incorrectly state that it requires a pipe with a diameter of Φ120, but it actually requires Φ130.

Very good stove. It satisfactorily warms up the space in winter, while not burning too much wood.

  • We got it for the village last year.

  • Quite good construction. Heats the space very well. Much more efficient than oil. The only negative thing I find is that you constantly need to add wood... not so much in terms of consumption because the logs are small due to the burning space, you just need to be there, you can't spend the night with fire.... it will go out.

  • It has saved me during the winter, I have free firewood from the olive trees and I burn it all winter long, we sit at home in short sleeves. And even if I didn't have free firewood, it would still be very economical because good wood keeps charcoal

  • I bought the stove a month and a half ago.
