Due to its construction using a thin filament of minimal metal, the plug is relatively difficult to use and requires some experience in its use, but it is precisely this construction that is responsible for its exceptional sound characteristics. It cannot be securely used for cable tightening with pliers (crimping) and the only correct use is soldering (tin). This is a disadvantage for many, but the plug has the most effective contact with the terminal compared to any other type, and its "hollow" design drastically reduces parasitic currents that distort the sound. If the solder you use is of high quality and contains silver (Cardas, WBT, etc.), the result will surprise you. The next quality step is several tens of euros higher.
