Description

Description

The early years of the Poker boom were filled with interest in No-limit hold 'em tournaments. Recently, however, players have begun to be drawn to another, even more complex form of Hold 'em - No-limit cash games.

In Volume I of Harrington on Cash Games, Dan Harrington teaches you the fundamental concepts regarding playing cash games with large stacks. You will learn how to adjust your starting hand choices based on your stack size, how to recognize the increasing bluffing value of supposedly 'weaker' hands as their stacks grow, and how to use the concept of pot commitment to your advantage as the pot size increases.

After exposing you to the general concepts of cash games with large stacks, Harrington will show you a comprehensive strategy for post-flop play and then teach you the difference between playing post-flop against a single opponent and playing post-flop against multiple opponents.

If you play No-limit hold 'em cash games, you need to read this book. Dan Harrington won the gold bracelet and the title of World Champion at the $10,000 buy-in World Championship in 1995 at the World Series of Poker. He was the only player to reach the final table in 2003 (out of 839) and in 2004 (out of 2,576) - which is considered by experts to be the greatest achievement in WSOP history.

With the books 'Harrington on Cash Games,' Harrington and two-time World Backgammon Champion, Bill Robertie, have written the top books on No-limit cash games. These books will teach you everything you need to know to make large profits in cash games.
