Ready-to-use, fast-drying, lightweight fuel compensation paint for racing. The RC Car paints have been specially developed for painting polycarbonate bodies. The special solvent used etches the surface, allowing the paint to permanently bond with the polycarbonate.
Before you start … Remove any dirt particles from the surface to be painted.
- Cut the body and sand the cut edges.
- Many bodies have a transparent protective film on the outer side. Do not remove this film until the paint is dry!
- Mask all areas that are not to be painted, using masking film or masking tape.
- Start with the dark color and then proceed to the light colors to prevent bleeding of the dark colors.
- Always check that the surfaces are dry and free from dust before painting!
For best results:
- Before use, shake the can vigorously for about 2 minutes.
- Spray from a distance of approximately 20 to 30 cm. Make even movements during spraying.
- The coverage of the RC Car paints varies slightly by color. Always spray a very light coat at a time to avoid bleeding. The final result is achieved after 2 to 3 coats. Wait about 5 minutes before applying the next coat.
- Allow the paint to dry for 5 minutes before removing the masking film and applying the next coat.
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray for 2 seconds until the nozzle is empty.
Special instructions for fluorescent colors:
- Fluorescent colors do not cover as well as regular colors. Only spray very light coats.
- Use at temperatures above 15°C.
- Spray from a distance of +/- 15/20 cm.
- Allow the paint to dry for 30 minutes and support the fluorescent color with white RC Car paint.
- Only then will the desired fluorescent effect be achieved!
