Description

Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specially designed for airbrushing. The Model Air paint range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including the colors of World War I, World War II, and up to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts regarding existing and previous military references, providing the modeler with the maximum possible historical accuracy.

The application of Model Air can be done directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first paint the surface with a primer and then apply Model Air in several layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous layer of varnish with exceptional durability, retaining even the most detailed features of the model. For the application of these paints with an airbrush, the recommended air pressure of the compressor is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Of course, Model Air can also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.

Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents.

Packaging: Model Air is offered in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and kept for a long time.
