Description

Matte acrylic paints, water-soluble and specially formulated for airbrush. The Model Air color series includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used throughout recent history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our specialists regarding existing and previous military references, ensuring the maximum possible historical accuracy for the modeler.

Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The colors dry very quickly and form a uniform paint film of exceptional durability while preserving even the slightest detail of the model.

For airbrushing these colors, the recommended compressor air pressure is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can naturally also be applied with a brush. For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is suggested.

Safety: Model Air is non-flammable and contains no solvents.

Packaging: Model Air is supplied in 17 ml./0.57 fl. oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in minimal quantities and preserved for a long time.
