Matte acrylic paints, water-based and specially formulated for airbrushing. The Model Air color range contains the most comprehensive selection of military colors used in recent history, including colors from World War I and II to the present day. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts on existing and previous military references, providing the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to first prepare the surface and then apply Model Air in multiple layers. The paints dry very quickly and form a homogeneous paint film of exceptional durability, preserving even the smallest details of the model.
For airbrushing these colors, the recommended air pressure of the compressor is 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. Model Air can also be applied with a brush.
For proper maintenance of the airbrush, the use of Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.

Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint in the container, allowing it to be used in minimal amounts and stored for a long time.
