Matte acrylic colors, water-soluble and specially designed for airbrushing. The Model Air color range includes the most comprehensive selection of military colors used throughout recent history, from World War I and II to the present. Each color is based on extensive research by our experts into existing and previous military references, aiming to provide the modeler with the highest possible historical accuracy.
Model Air can be used straight from the bottle or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It is recommended to prepare the surface first and then apply Model Air in several layers. The colors dry very quickly, forming a uniform paint film of exceptional durability, retaining even the finest detail of the model. For use with an airbrush, a compressor pressure of 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg is suggested. Model Air can, of course, also be applied with a brush.
For proper airbrush maintenance, it is recommended to use Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Safety: Model Air is not flammable and does not contain solvents. Also, see certified safety information for the product on the Safety page.
Packaging: Model Air is available in 17 ml./0.57 fl.oz. bottles with a dropper. This packaging prevents evaporation and drying of the paint inside the container, allowing it to be used in small quantities and stored for a long time.
