Overall, it is a very good, modern refrigerator at a reasonable price. My comments on specific areas:
- BUILD QUALITY, SPACE. It is one of the refrigerators with careful construction, and I mean the finish and the quality of the visible materials. Comparing it to a similar Liebherr refrigerator (made in Bulgaria), this one excels in finish and assembly (it is made in Poland). Of course, the real build quality will show over time and concerns the critical components of the refrigerator. From a tour of the exhibitions, I got the impression that Samsung and LG are the best-made. Bosch and Siemens are of very average construction. Liebherr is somewhere in between. I emphasize, these are only my impressions and concern refrigerators in the price category up to €1,000. Very beautiful and aesthetically, completely minimal. I don't like the interior lighting, very cold, on the verge of blue.
The refrigeration space is sufficient for 2 to 3 people, but not abundant. On the contrary, the freezer with 3 quite large drawers definitely exceeds the needs. This is an issue with all fridge-freezers. It seems that the freezer is a fixed compartment for all sizes, and the refrigeration space increases according to the height. This refrigerator has a 67/33 ratio, refrigeration to freezing. I believe that a 75/25 ratio would be much more practical.
I must mention the invaluable advantage of the fridge-freezer, you open the door, and everything is in front of you. You don't search, you don't bend at all.
ENERGY CONSUMPTION, NOISE.
There is no complete data on consumption, but based on what Samsung's Smart Things measures, consumption ranges between 0.90 and 1.1 kWh per day. Much more than the 204 kWh per year that the product specifications claim. However, it is full summer, and the measured values are not indicative of an average. When I have more data, I will update.
Update: For the September-February semester, the average consumption was 0.70 kWh/day. Not far from the value Samsung claims.
The noise is at low levels, barely noticeable within the kitchen, nothing is heard outside the kitchen.
CONTROL AND CONNECTIVITY
It has a simple and beautiful screen where you can see the temperatures of the chambers and make the relevant settings. This with the door closed, which is a clear advantage. I was impressed by how poor the function menu is, essentially only allowing temperature settings and connection with WiFi and Smart Things. There is no ON-OFF switch! If the refrigerator needs to be stopped, it must be unplugged!
A SLIGHTLY UNRELATED COMMENT
I can't avoid a comment based on two recent personal experiences. There are quite a few shops out there, serious and with relatively good prices. However, in the refrigerator market, there is also the factor of transportation. Almost always, the transporter is independent of the merchant, prioritizing chasing their own work, i.e., cramming an incredible volume of deliveries into one day. This means that the people who will bring the refrigerator do not particularly care to make a careful and meticulous transport and delivery, as befits an item that costs €600 or much more. Also, the merchant's responsibility typically ends the moment they deliver the package to the transporter. If any damage occurs afterward, during transport or delivery, then the big mess begins. Good purchases, but research and organize the transportation issue very well.
Γενικά είναι ένα πολύ καλό, σύγχρονο ψυγείο, σε λογική τιμή. Τα σχόλιά μου σε συγκεκριμένους τομείς:
- ΠΟΙΟΤΗΤΑ ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΗΣ, ΧΩΡΟΙ. Είναι από τα ψυγεία με προσεγμένη κατασκευή και εννοώ το φινίρισμα και την ποιότητα των υλικών που φαίνονται. Έχοντας μέτρο σύγκρισης ένα αντίστοιχο ψυγείο της Liebherr (made in Bulgaria) αυτό εδώ υπερτερεί σε φινίρισμα και μοντάρισμα (είναι made in Poland). Βέβαια η ουσιαστική ποιότητα κατασκευής θα φανεί με το χρόνο και αφορά στα κρίσιμα εξαρτήματα του ψυγείου. Από μια βόλτα στις εκθέσεις, μου δόθηκε η εντύπωση ότι τα Samsung και LG είναι τα πιο καλοφτιαγμένα. Bosch και Siemens είναι πολύ μέτριας κατασκευής. Η Liebherr βρίσκεται κάπου στο ενδιάμεσο. Τονίζω, είναι μόνο οι δικές μου εντυπώσεις και αφορούν ψυγεία σε κατηγορία τιμής έως 1.000€. Πολύ όμορφο και αισθητικά, τελείως μίνιμαλ. Ο εσωτερικός φωτισμός, δε μου αρέσει, πολύ ψυχρός, στα όρια του μπλε.
Ο χώρος της συντήρησης είναι επαρκής για 2 με 3 άτομα, όχι όμως και πλούσιος. Αντίθετα η κατάψυξη με 3 αρκετά μεγάλα συρτάρια, σίγουρα υπερκαλύπτει τις ανάγκες. Αυτό είναι θέμα με όλους τους ψυγειο-καταψύκτες. Φαίνεται πως η κατάψυξη είναι ένα διαμέρισμα σταθερό για όλα τα μεγέθη και ο χώρος της συντήρησης μεγαλώνει ανάλογα με το ύψος. Το ψυγείο αυτό έχει μια αναλογία 67/33, συντήρηση προς κατάψυξη. Πιστεύω πως, μια αναλογία 75/25 θα ήταν πολύ πιο πρακτική.
Πρέπει να αναφερθώ βέβαια στο ανεκτίμητο προτέρημα του ψυγειο-καταψύκτη, ανοίγεις την πόρτα και είναι όλα μπροστά σου. Δεν ψάχνεις, δεν σκύβεις καθόλου.
ΕΝΕΡΓ. ΚΑΤΑΝΑΛΩΣΗ, ΘΟΡΥΒΟΣ.
Δεν υπάρχουν πλήρη στοιχεία για την κατανάλωση, αλλά με βάση αυτό που μετράει το Smart Things της Samsung, η κατανάλωση κυμαίνεται μεταξύ 0,90 και 1,1 kWh ανά ημέρα. Πολύ περισσότερα δηλαδή από τα 204 kWh ανά έτος που είναι οι προδιαγραφές του προϊόντος. Όμως είναι φουλ καλοκαίρι και οι τιμές που μετρήθηκαν δεν είναι ενδεικτικές για μέσο όρο. Όταν έχω περισσότερα στοιχεία, θα επανέλθω.
Ενημέρωση: Για το εξάμηνο Σεπτέμβριος-Φεβρουάριος, η μέση κατανάλωση ήταν 0,70 kWh/ημέρα. Όχι μακρυά από την τιμή που ισχυρίζεται η Samsung.
Ο θόρυβος είναι σε χαμηλά επίπεδα, ελάχιστα αισθητός εντός της κουζίνας, δεν ακούγεται τίποτα εκτός κουζίνας.
ΕΛΕΓΧΟΣ ΚΑΙ ΣΥΝΔΕΣΙΜΟΤΗΤΑ
Έχει μία απλή και όμορφη οθόνη που βλέπεις τις θερμοκρασίες των θαλάμων και μπορείς να κάνεις και τις σχετικές ρυθμίσεις. Αυτά με κλειστή την πόρτα, που είναι σαφές πλεονέκτημα. Μου έκανε εντύπωση πόσο φτωχό είναι το μενού των λειτουργιών, ουσιαστικά μόνο τη ρύθμιση των θερμοκρασιών μπορείς να κάνεις και τη σύνδεση με WiFi και το Smart Things. Διακόπτης ON-OFF δεν υπάρχει! Αν πρέπει να σταματήσει το ψυγείο, πρέπει να βγει από την πρίζα!
ΕΝΑ ΣΧΟΛΙΟ ΛΙΓΟ ΑΣΧΕΤΟ
Δεν μπορώ να αποφύγω ένα σχόλιο με βάση δύο πρόσφατες δικές μου εμπειρίες. Υπάρχουν αρκετά μαγαζιά εκεί έξω, σοβαρά και με σχετικά καλές τιμές. Όμως στην αγορά ψυγείου, υπάρχει και ο παράγοντας μεταφορική. Σχεδόν πάντα, ο μεταφορέας είναι ανεξάρτητος από τον έμπορο, έχει προτεραιότητα να κυνηγήσει τη δική του δουλειά, δηλ. να στριμώξει σε μια ημέρα έναν απίστευτο όγκο παραδόσεων. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι οι άνθρωποι που θα φέρουν το ψυγείο, δεν νοιάζονται ιδιαίτερα να κάνουν μια προσεκτική και σχολαστική μεταφορά και παράδοση, όπως ταιριάζει σε ένα αντικείμενο που κοστίζει 600€ ή και πολύ παραπάνω. Επίσης η ευθύνη του εμπόρου, τυπικά τελειώνει τη στιγμή που παραδίδει τη συσκευασία στον μεταφορέα. Αν γίνει κάποια ζημιά κατόπιν, στη μεταφορά ή την παράδοση, τότε ξεκινάει το χοντρό μπλέξιμο. Καλές αγορές, αλλά ψάξτε και οργανώστε πολύ καλά το θέμα της μεταφοράς.
