The granular activated carbon filter cartridge is suitable for all reverse osmosis filter systems as a replacement filter for the existing post-activated carbon filter. It uses a metal filter and has an internal 1/4" (12.91 mm) thread on both sides.

This filter cartridge filters:

• ozone
• pesticides
• calcium carbonate
• chlorine
• reduces the concentration of heavy metals such as lead and copper

The activated carbon stands out due to its high efficiency and is widely used in industry. Water used in industrial processes is treated with activated carbon before being incorporated into food, because activated carbon is reliable and filters out most toxins.

The activated carbon filter does not need to be washed and should be replaced every 6 months (DIN 1988). To ensure consistent filtration performance, the filter cartridge should not filter more than 8,000 liters, depending on water quality.
