The biological pond filter combines mechanical and biological cleaning with the latest UV technology. The filter system ensures a stable, biological balance in large ponds and significantly improves water quality without chemicals. The filter creates clean water for pond sizes up to 8,000 liters without fish or up to 4,000 liters with fish.

The filter system should operate 24 hours a day to optimally support a healthy environment, rich vegetation, and the well-being of the fish. Effective filtration is provided by materials such as:

• a special yellow sponge
• a special blue sponge with different processing speeds for pond water
• a Japanese mat
• a UV-C clarifier

The pond water is slowly compressed using a pump and a suitable hose, which are NOT included in the delivery scope. The filter sponges first clean the water mechanically from coarse suspended materials and dirt particles on their surfaces.
