Well... I placed the Pinlock on my helmet (ls2 stream 2 evo). I had never used an anti-fog Pinlock in the past. My personal opinion is that yes, it doesn't fog up. Yes, but...! At night, using the Pinlock made the glare of lights more intense and created a haze in visibility. Especially when the road was wet, etc... even worse. I kept the Pinlock on for over 3 months to see if I would get used to it but I didn't. As soon as I removed it, I could see better right away. I don't know if in another helmet, the phenomenon is milder. In my opinion, for someone who moves around the city at low speeds, where the helmet ventilation cannot work properly to keep the Pinlock clear, then yes. Put it on. But if you are on more open roads then... don't put it on. Finally, another negative point that I have not seen mentioned in anti-fog Pinlocks, is that by nature, the Pinlock cannot be cleaned... So if at some point there is a ring or some dirt (e.g. smudging), then this Pinlock cannot be cleaned simply with a spray and a cloth like one would clean the helmet visor.
Λοιπόν… τοποθέτησα τη ζελατίνα στο κράνος μου(ls2 stream 2 evo).
Ποτέ μου δεν είχα ξανά χρησιμοποιήσει αντιθαμβωτικη ζελατίνα στο παρελθόν.
Η προσωπική μου άποψη είναι ότι ναι δεν θολώνει.
Ναι μεν… αλλά…!
Τη νύχτα, η χρήση του Pinlock μου έκανε πιο έντονες τις λάμψεις των φώτων και σου δημιουργούσε μια θολούρα στην ορατότητα. Ειδικά όταν ήταν και βρεγμένος ο δρόμος κλπ… ακόμη χειρότερα.
Την κράτησα τη ζελατίνα πάνω από 3 μήνες για να το δοκιμάσω μήπως συνηθίσω αλλά δεν.
Με το που την αφαίρεσα, την ίδια στιγμή κιόλας έβλεπα καλύτερα.
Δεν ξέρω αν σε κάποιο άλλο κράνος, το φαινόμενο είναι πιο ήπιο.
Κατ έμε, για κάποιον που κινείται μέσα στην πόλη με χαμηλές ταχύτητες,που ο εξαερισμός του κράνους δεν μπορεί να δουλέψει όπως πρέπει προκειμένου να σου διατηρεί τη ζελατίνα ξεθολωτη, τότε ναι. Βάλτε το.
Αν όμως κινείσαι σε πιο απλωτούς δρόμους τότε… μην το βάλετε.
Τέλος άλλο ένα αρνητικό το οποίο δεν έχω δει να αναφέρεται στις αντιθαμβωτικες ζελατίνες, είναι ότι από τη φύση της, η ζελατίνα δεν μπορεί να καθαρίσει… Οποτε αν κάποια στιγμή υπάρχει μια δαχτυλιά ή κάποια βρωμια(πχ φτέρνισμα) τότε, η ζελατίνα αυτή δεν μπορεί να καθαρίσει απλά με ενα σπρευ και χαρτάκι όπως καθαρίζει κάποιος την ζελατίνα του κράνους.
Until I put it on the FF320 helmet, I saw and experienced. It is very tight on this helmet. The helmet has screws on the pinlock which I removed, but nothing turned as I saw in some videos to help the situation. With the on and off and the pressure it receives from the helmet's visor, the pinlock twisted on one side, resulting in it not fitting correctly and being slightly raised at the edge. However, it does its job and does not fog up.
Μέχρι να τη βαλω σε κράνος FF320 είδα και έπαθα. ειναι παρα πολυ σφιχτή σε αυτο το κράνος. το κράνος στο pinlock έχει βίδες τις οποίες της έβγαλα αλλα δεν γύριζε τίποτα όπως είδα σε κάποια βίντεο για να βοηθήση την κατάσταση. με το βάλε βγάλε και την πίεση που δέχεχται απο τη ζελατινα του κράνους, το pinlock στράβωσε απο την μία πλευρά με αποτέλεσμα στην άκρη να μην εφαρμόζει σωστά και να είναι λίγο σηκωμένη. Παρόλα αυτα κανει τη δουλεία της και δεν θολόνη.
