It features a nice rolltop closure. The 210D fabric from which they are made is not extremely lightweight but is suitably lightweight for most cases. The thin, vivid material makes them easy to fill, roll, and pack.

WATERPROOF? YES AND NO.

The 210D nylon from which they are made has a suitable PU coating to make it waterproof. But the seams are not heat-sealed. Basically, these backpacks are fairly waterproof (at least when new and not worn out after years of heavy use). But if you leave it out in the rain or throw it in a puddle, water will eventually seep in through the seams. Keep in mind that if you use them as suggested, the fabric and coating will eventually wear out, allowing water to soak through the fabric itself.
