Phosphate Remover

Phosphate compounds are generally caused by fish in the aquarium and the use of foods and fertilizers. The concentration of phosphates in natural water is never greater than 1 mg/l, but in the aquarium, it can reach levels of 20-30 mg/l. The combination of high phosphates and nitrates stimulates algal growth. The phosphate level in the aquarium should be 1 mg/L in freshwater and 0.1 mg/L in saltwater.

To maintain this low level, the following is required:

  • Regular water changes of about 20% of the water volume every two weeks.
  • Monthly cleaning of the tank gravel by siphoning.
  • Regular filter checks and cleaning.
  • Monthly addition of Phosphator.

APPLICATION:

400ml removes 1ppm of phosphates and silicates in 200lt of water.
