The GRO LED Macroalgae light is a specialized 20W LED light designed for the growth of many types of macroalgae (such as Chaetomorpha) using a specialized light spectrum that maximizes photosynthesis.

The GRO uses all its power to emit light at two specific wavelengths that are optimized for macroalgae growth – 455-460 nm and 620-670 nm. This, combined with its rectangular shape, means the right light goes where you need it – and minimizes the growth of annoying algae in other areas of the sump due to light spill.
