Citofonte Monel electrodes, nickel-copper type. Deposited metal similar to cast iron. An electrode that yields deposited metal with approximately 70% Ni and 30% Cu, suitable for repairing broken or worn cast iron pieces.

Suitable for repairing parts that have voids and casting defects. It has a stable arc with a flawless wire. The CITOFONTE MONEL produces welds without cracks and pores.

The stresses that may be contained in the base metal or the deposited metal can be reduced by forging. The deposited metal is machinable.
