The Panzerjäger Tiger Ausf. B, known as the Jagdtiger, was the heaviest tank ever to see action during World War II. About 80 units were developed for battle, with the first participating in September 1944. The Jagdtiger utilized tank designs for the construction of self-propelled guns and tank destroyers with the aim of upgrading the Tiger II, featuring the 128 mm Pak 44 gun mounted in a specially designed armored casing. Weighing 71 tons and with 10 inches of armor at the front, the Jagdtiger was one of the most protected tanks of the war.

Its anti-tank power came from the PaK 44 gun, which had exceptional performance at long ranges, making it terrifying. However, the limited traverse of the gun required the tank to turn to aim, and the two-piece ammunition required additional crew members.

Only two German schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilungen included Jagdtigers, the 512th and the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion. The famous Panzer Ace, Otto Carius, commanded a company of the 512th and was credited with the destruction of more than 150 tanks. The provided transport sheet includes Carius decals.
