Brief Installation Instructions:

  • Asphalt shingles are installed only by nailing and require a stable, flat wooden surface.
  • The minimum slope should be 15° or 27%.
  • The first main row covers the initial safety row and protrudes a few millimeters from the cornice.
  • The second row is shifted by half a tab so that its lower edge aligns with the highest point of the notch in the lower row.
  • For ridges, cut rectangular asphalt shingles and proceed tab by tab.
  • For 1m2 of asphalt shingles, estimate 100g of glue.
  • For 18-20m2, estimate 1Kg of nails.
