    It has excellent glass, very good build quality, excellent packaging. Now, you should know that the 1/8 gives a slight effect. That is, someone who bought it to make a difference in the image will see it very little. The 1/4 is perfect for someone to see a difference, but for some jobs you have to remove it because the effect is strong. I got the 1/8 because I never want to take it off the lens, and it also protects the lens from dust and water. Instead of getting a UV filter, I got this. I also tried a B+W filter which costs three times as much; I saw no difference in the image. Buy it with your eyes closed, and as lens protection it does not create any ghosting, vignetting, or green tint like some UV filters do.

    I read that many people say it fills with dust, attracts dust, etc. I use it outdoors in very dusty conditions and not a single grain has stuck to the filter.
