Properties:

The VICOLITH ACRYLIC TOTAL is a tile adhesive suitable for applications in indoor and outdoor areas, with high adhesive strength under normal conditions, humid areas, high temperatures, and freeze-thaw cycles. It exhibits nearly zero vertical slip, making it ideal for application on floors and walls. It is classified as a C1T1 type adhesive according to the EN 12004 standard.

Applications:

It is used for bonding ceramic tiles to cement-based floor and wall surfaces.

Usage instructions:

• Preparation: The surface must be sturdy, clean, and free of cracks. Dust and grease should be removed, and cracks should be filled. Absorbent substrates should be dampened or primed with acrylic primer.
• Application: Mix the adhesive with clean water in a clean container, using a low-speed mixer (< 600 rpm). Allow the mixture to mature for 5-10 minutes and mix again. Spread the adhesive with a notched trowel, applying it to a surface that will be covered with tiles within 20 minutes.

Plasticization:

In cases of deformation due to thermal expansions or vibrations, plasticization of the adhesive is required by adding the plasticizer VIMAFLEX.

Consumption:

• 4 x 4 mm: 1.8 kg/m², adhesive thickness 1.5 mm
• 6 x 4 mm: 2.5 kg/m², adhesive thickness 2.1 mm
• 8 x 8 mm: 3.2 kg/m², adhesive thickness 2.7 mm
• 10 x 10 mm: 4.0 kg/m², adhesive thickness 3.3 mm
