Haworthia 'Savanna' - Haworthia
Family: Asphodelaceae
Pot diameter: 6 cm.
Collector variety.
The Haworthia is a succulent with a typical rosette shape, formed by succulent, flat, and pointed leaves that have a distinctive gray-silver tone, very different from that of other species of the genus Haworthia. The epidermis is covered with small white dots, often three-dimensional, creating a very decorative pattern.
Care:
- It requires partial shade exposure but must receive plenty of light throughout the year.
- Ideal temperatures are those that do not drop below 5 °C, so it is recommended to protect it during the winter season.
- Keep the soil slightly moist in spring and summer, avoiding water stagnation that may cause rot.
- The best soil is one that drains well, for example, a mix of peat and pumice, to prevent waterlogging.
- No frequent fertilization is needed; just dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
