The chair appears almost weightless. All joints of the chair are covered, giving it a unique and sleek appearance. The legs extend exceptionally to the chair's full height, placing the back between them. The back legs meet the ground behind the chair rather than directly beneath it, making it look almost alive – as if it has taken a thoughtful step back.

Designer Mikiya drew inspiration for the chair from Japanese woodworking and its simplicity. The elegant chair is the perfect small piece of furniture for a child's room or living room. Its organic forms remind us of a living being, while the flat surface of the seat is also meant to be used as a table. Simple and clean, it will fit equally well with the table from the same series, as well as with mismatched furniture, for a more bohemian feel.
