    Lexar is a company owned by Micron (supplies RAM memories to many companies such as Corsair, Crucial, G-Skill). This specific card is released today as I write this in two versions, the older one with the code ..BEU.. and the newer one ..B1EU.. The newer one that I have is slower (possibly throttled down to avoid the small issues that have been reported for its predecessor?), with the nominal speed indicated on the back of the packaging (it says "95* Read/ 20 Write"), meaning that the card is on par with Samsung Evo Plus. Although it doesn't have high sequential writes, it performs very well in 512K writes compared to the competition (just like Samsung). For example, in CrystalDiskMark 3.0.4, it gives me 92R/22W (Seq), 85R/32W (512K), 7R/2W (4K) with the built-in reader in a USB 3.0 port. On a mobile phone, you may see lower read speeds, depending on the reader of each model (e.g. 50R/20W on Xiaomi Redmi 3).

    This specific card reader is known to overheat, like all others of this size, but it seems to be of good quality. In conclusion, it is worth the money if you need the card reader (which can also be used as a mini USB stick). If you don't need it, then the alternative options are Samsung Evo+ with the exact same speeds or Kingston SDCA3 with slightly better performance in large files (93R/50W Sequential), but not as good in small files (75R/3W in 512K and 9R/1W in 4K). [Note: all measurements were taken with the same card reader and on the same PC]
