Adhesion bridge and anti-corrosion protection for reinforced concrete structures

Sika MonoTop®-1010 is a 1-component polymer-modified cementitious mortar suitable for use as an adhesion bridge and anti-corrosion protection for steel reinforcement. It contains recycled raw materials, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint compared to similar mortars.

Packaging: 25 kg bag

Composition: Portland cement, cement replacements, polymer powder dispersion, selected aggregates and additives

Shelf life: 12 months from the production date

Storage conditions: Store in closed and sealed packaging, in dry conditions, at temperatures between +5 °C and +35 °C.

Mixing ratio: For brush/broom application ~5.25 L water (21%) per 25 kg bag, for spraying application ~5.0 L water (20%) per 25 kg bag.

Fresh mortar density: ~2.0 kg/l

Layer thickness: As adhesion bridge a thin coating of the concrete surface is sufficient, while for reinforcement anti-corrosion protection a minimum layer thickness of 2 mm is required.

Consumption: Adhesion bridge ~1.5-2.0 kg powder per m2 per 1 mm layer thickness, reinforcement anti-corrosion protection ~2.0 kg powder per m2 per 1 mm layer thickness. Consumption depends on substrate roughness and absorbency.

Yield: ~14.3 L per 25 kg powder
