Magnesium anode alloy AZ 63 with male thread M8 x 10 mm.
Installed for cathodic protection of tanks from corrosion due to electrolysis.
Provides a method of protection against corrosion of metals in contact with corrosive materials (water).
Cathodic protection is achieved by adding an anode, which corrodes in place of the protected metals.
The use of MAGNESIUM anodes of German standards is recommended for water-heating and solar installations.
