The replacement membrane is compatible with most standard pressure tanks of 20-24 liters and is intended for use in cold and hot water hydraulic systems, household water supply systems, solar energy maintenance systems, and garden pumps. The membrane is made from butyl rubber, which is suitable for drinking water.

Butyl rubber: Butyl rubber belongs to the elastomer group and is characterized by:

• Resistance to hot air, weather conditions, and ozone.
• Low gas permeability.
• Good chemical resistance.
• Very good energy absorption properties from noise and shock up to 100 °C.
• Elastomeric at temperatures down to -70 °C.

The use of butyl rubber mainly includes flexible air tubes, inner rubber cores, bladder tanks, steam hoses, and tank linings. Moreover, its application extends to sheets, membranes, and non-vulcanized seals.
