    It does its job well for plastic and wood that I used it on. Given that common drills go up to 10, holes 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 require something like this. For larger openings, there are hole saws. After each use, the drill needs to be removed with an ALEN key to take out the piece that was cut. I don't find the spring necessary. And one tip. First, drill a hole with a regular drill and then use this one so it doesn't have to open the hole with its own drill.
