ISL6265 The ISL6265 is a multidimensional controller with built-in gate drivers. A single-phase controller powers the Northbridge section (VDDNB) of the CPU. The other two channels of the controller can be configured for either two-phase or individual single-phase outputs. For CPU applications with single levels, the ISL6265 is configured as a two-phase converter. This allows the controller to overlap the channels, effectively doubling the output voltage waveform frequency and reducing the output voltage waveform amplitude with fewer components, lower component costs, reduced power consumption, and a smaller footprint. For dual-phase processors, the ISL6265 can be configured as independent single-phase controllers supplying VDD0 and VDD1.
