Description

Description

The LV-WR21Q by Pix-Link is a router, a device to which other devices (e.g., computer, mobile phone, television) connect either wirelessly or via cable, and through which they share access to the internet.

It is a Wi-Fi 4 generation router, an older generation recommended for use with a few devices and for applications that do not require high speeds. It broadcasts a signal on one frequency, 2.4GHz, which offers lower speed compared to those that broadcast on 2 (dual) or 3 (tri-band) frequencies. The 2.4GHz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range.

The device has VPN (Virtual Private Network) configuration capability so that traffic from all devices on our network passes through it. The VPN acts as an intermediary between us and the rest of the internet, allowing us to appear geographically in another country and for the pages we visit to see the VPN's address as the visitor instead of our own. This provides us with anonymity and access to geographically restricted content.

With MAC address filtering, it allows specific devices to connect based on their unique MAC address, blocking any device with a MAC address that has not been designated as acceptable.

Main features:

  • IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u
  • Maximum Wireless Speed: 300 Mbps
  • Maximum LAN Speed: 100 Mbps
  • Wi-Fi 4
