During this time, they brought impressive technological and scientific innovation to their domain. This rapid progress helped the Dominium reach — and eventually settle — even the most distant parts of the known galaxy, where new Houses emerged to govern the outer sectors of the empire.

As the House of Novarchon increased its power, so did the religious cult surrounding them, prophesying grim predictions about an ancient cosmic entity from another dimension: the Voidborn. Many believed it was just a myth, but in reality, the dark influence of the Voidborn granted the Novarchs the simple knowledge to achieve rapid expansion for the empire. While the cult of the Novarchs envisioned eternity through the supernatural entity, the sole intent of the Voidborn was to satisfy its eternal hunger.
