“Now you stir, Paris,” said Maria, handing him the whisk. “The last ingredients, the tasty feta and the aromatic oregano. These give all the flavor,” Paris added, and the two children crumbled the feta over the mixture with their hands and sprinkled the oregano. “One last stir and let’s put it in the molds.” They each took a big spoon and carefully transferred the mixture into the molds to make muffins, that is, small cakes. The children were singing while Paris’s dad put the muffins in the oven to bake. After 20 minutes, the kitchen was sparkling, the muffins were out of the oven, and the children admired their creations. After eating two each, they got ready for beetroot painting! “This is the best pink surprise anyone has ever given me!” said Maria.
