    It needs to be properly leveled, horizontally with a spirit level. It's not enough for it to just stand on the floor with its legs steady and sloping down. Otherwise, the drum will hit during spinning. Depending on where the spirit level shows the tilt, lift it by adjusting the legs. The first time, it made noise for me too. It was leaning forward. As soon as I leveled it with a spirit level, unscrewing the front legs a bit, it became silent and doesn't move at all during spinning. This is necessary for all washing machines.

Now, compared to a new LG we have in another house, it is +50% noisier; you can hear the valves opening and closing, water pumping, etc. Especially during the spin cycle, I don't know why, but it makes quite a heavy noise, like a truck is working. I tried to see if all four legs were touching, but they are not. Obviously, I don't know if it's a defect or if all models make such noise. Also, a dryer of the same brand that we have also makes quite a bit of noise. It does its job, but it could be quieter!!!

    It needs to be properly leveled, horizontally with a spirit level. It's not enough for it to just stand on the floor with its legs steady and sloping down. Otherwise, the drum will hit during spinning. Depending on where the spirit level shows the tilt, lift it by adjusting the legs. The first time, it made noise for me too. It was leaning forward. As soon as I leveled it with a spirit level, unscrewing the front legs a bit, it became silent and doesn't move at all during spinning. This is necessary for all washing machines.

Now, compared to a new LG we have in another house, it is +50% noisier; you can hear the valves opening and closing, water pumping, etc. Especially during the spin cycle, I don't know why, but it makes quite a heavy noise, like a truck is working. I tried to see if all four legs were touching, but they are not. Obviously, I don't know if it's a defect or if all models make such noise. Also, a dryer of the same brand that we have also makes quite a bit of noise. It does its job, but it could be quieter!!!
