Purchased for 25 euros and after 1 year it broke, it opened from the bottom and wouldn't charge, the cover would come off, then it got wet and never turned on again. Compared to the 5 which I had for 3 years, the 8 was not worth it at all.

As long as it worked, no complaints. It still works but,
after 2 and something years the measurement suddenly stopped, the sensors don't work.

Factory reset, maintenance etc. were done, just in case, but nothing... I bought it for 30€ so, ok

If I could give it 0 stars I would. It froze and the screen is stuck forever. Whenever I charge it to use it, it freezes and the battery lasts for two minutes. Those two minutes are two minutes of chaos as it vibrates nonstop with the screen off and you can't stop it. AWFUL. SHAME ON XIAOMI

Everything was going fine, until after 1.5 years the battery started to drain. After a few days, its sensors broke down (it didn't measure heart rate, oxygen, etc.) and a little later it turned off and never turned on again.

I previously had the band 4, or some older version I don't remember exactly, and generally it had suited me very well for the simple functions I wanted it for, but after that one broke down for unknown reasons out of warranty, I decided to get the newer one. For about a year it worked fine, although it often disconnected from the phone. Then, even though it claims to be waterproof, after a swim in the sea it broke as soon as it came into contact with water. Also, it seems that this particular product is from outside the European Union, so it is not covered by the warranty (that's what the representative told me). Thankfully, skroutz took responsibility and compensated me.

I don't think I'll ever buy a smart band again

After exactly one year of purchase, the battery life has decreased significantly. The straps broke at the 6-month mark and I have replaced them twice. Now it doesn't even take measurements anymore because one of the two sensors located on the back of the watch has burned out.

It should be noted that it has never been in water and has been in a silicone case since the day it was purchased.

Compared to previous Xiaomi bands, this one is significantly lacking in battery life. Previously (with band 5) I would forget to charge it, now it needs charging every 5 days. The quality remains the same, low on the strap which (as with the previous band) after 6+ months broke from light use. It is a band that allows you, apart from telling the time, to have an approximate overview of basic indicators related to your fitness and activity (activity tracker), nothing more—not with accuracy. After all, for this price, you can't expect measurement accuracy or material quality. The next one will obviously be an action watch in a different price category. My cycle with this type of activity tracker is complete, they have nothing more to offer me.

I have bought 2 within a year. Both presented some problem that made it impossible to use them. The first one, although it had never come into contact with water (other than the few drops from when I washed my hands a few times and dried them immediately), simply stopped working at some point and didn't turn back on even though I tried everything that was suggested, and the second one has a connection problem via Bluetooth (after a while it just stopped being able to connect to the app through my phone). My phone doesn't see the device and the app doesn't accept scanning the QR from the watch since it doesn't see the Bluetooth! And all this because I wanted to change the time when it changed. As much as I like this particular watch and although I had 2 older models (the 2 and the 4 - this one had a similar problem to the last one!), I am not going to buy again because I feel like I'm just throwing money away, no matter how cheap the device is. When it works, it is vfm of course.

Very honest smart band for its price! Nice touch screen, nice colors, many workout functions. You can see who is calling you and other notifications if you want, overall I am very satisfied. I give it 4 stars and not 5, only because the strap darkened after the first two weeks and caused irritation on my skin, but okay, it can be changed.

I got it in white and black as a gift!
I have been using it daily for over 6 months. It gives accurate measurements on the heart rate monitor, but the oxygen measurement is lower during the day as the sensor relies on light and contrast. At night, both measurements are accurate. I also track the sleep stages, where I find the measurements to be correct.

This is the third band from the series that I buy starting from the model six, very good for what it is and the price is just a little, only that the white strap has already taken on a bit of color from daily use in less than two months, otherwise it is fantastic

Very good, with accurate measurements of sleep, steps, heart rate, etc. But with simple use, without exposing it much to water (I didn't shower with the watch, I didn't use it in the sea, I only washed it in fresh water occasionally to clean it without chemicals and sometimes it might have gotten wet when I washed my hands) and without having hit it anywhere, the touch stopped working suddenly, even though it hasn't been a year since I got it. Maybe I happened to get a defective product, but overall I am very satisfied with the watch

The watch, if I accidentally turn off Bluetooth on my phone, does not connect easily; I have to restart the device necessarily, and it takes a lot of time, relative inaccuracy in the measurements, and the battery does not last as long as it guarantees!

I bought a smart band for the first time. I was in doubt whether I wanted a smart band or a smartwatch, and the truth is that this one is excellent.
It has been very convenient for me as its size is just right for my wrist.

The measurements it takes are many, without knowing how accurate they are. Its battery is also very good, needing a charge approximately every 5 days with heavy use.
BUT

The mi Fit, which is the app that the device "talks" to, is unacceptable. Countless bugs and synchronization problems. Also, the app gives you the ability to sync your data with Google Fit and Strava. Which simply does not work - In Google Fit it does not sync anything beyond sleep and in Strava while it transfers the activity, the measurements it provides are completely out of reality. The Mi Fit ruins the entire user experience of the band.

Very good product. Features that you find in much more expensive bands. The strap needs a little attention, as it opens easily in the sea, resulting in me almost losing it 2 times and now I take it off.
