  • Measure the length of the cable (D), divide it by 30.5, and the resulting number is the length of the cable in feet, then round the number. Example: (D)246 : 30.5 = 8.06 = 8FT.
  • If there is no old cable: For outboard engines, calculate A + B + 90cm, the result is the length of the cable in cm. Then divide it by 30.5 and round the number. Example: (A)50 + (B)220 + 90 = 360 : 30.5 = 11.80 = 12FT.
  • For inboard/outboard & inboard engines, calculate A + B, the result is the length of the cable in cm. Then divide by 30.5 and round the number.
