Measuring guide: You can measure the length of the cable (D) by dividing it by 30.5. The result is the length of the cable in feet, rounding the number.
Example: (D)246 : 30.5 = 8.06 = 8FT.
If there is no old cable: For outboard engines, calculate A + B + 90cm. The result is the length of the cable in cm. Then, divide it by 30.5 and round the number.
Example: (A)50 + (B)220 + 90 = 360 : 30.5 = 11.80 = 12FT.
For inboard/outboard & inboard engines, calculate A + B. The result is the length of the cable in cm. Then, divide it by 30.5 and round the number.
Example: (A)50 + (B)220 = 270 : 30.5 = 8.85.
