Red sun-dried sweet wine from 100% Merlot PDO Drama, with deep red color and sweet, fleshy body with round tannins. It has a complex bouquet of aromas, with intense notes of plum, chocolate, and coffee bean. Rich and velvety in the mouth with a complex aftertaste reminiscent of honeycomb.

The single varietal origin of Melissourgos from Merlot, its aging in new oak barrels, and the special processing and vinification method make it unique with excellent structure and longevity.

Tasting Pairing:

  • Excellent aperitif
  • Spicy hard or aged yellow and blue cheeses
  • Sweets with strong flavors of chocolate and hazelnut

Served at 6-10°C. It can be aged for 15-20 years from the harvest.
