Description

Description

The viticulture zone of Amyntaio, designated as a Protected Designation of Origin of Superior Quality, extends over the plateau of the same name, at an altitude of 570-750 meters and covers approximately 8,500 acres of vineyards. Administratively, it belongs to the Florina Prefecture, while the most important settlements in terms of viticulture are Amyntaio, Agios Panteleimonas, Xino Nero, Petres, and Vegora. A distinctive feature of the topographic profile of the zone is the two lakes in the area: Vegoritida and Lake Petres. Here, among, around, and beside the shores of the water expanses, the vineyards spread out. Delicately embroidered string of bubbles. Bright, rose color. Expressive nose reminiscent of blackberry and lemon-filled biscuits. Light presence in the mouth and soft sweetness that harmoniously balances the refreshing acidity. Rosé, sparkling wine of Designation of Origin characterized by finesse and elegance.
