Although it does not fade from chemical cleaners, care should be taken with very high temperatures to avoid discoloration.

Its installation is drop-in, meaning it is integrated into the countertop, with its edge protruding. This method of installation is the most common and easiest regarding kitchen sinks. It supports its weight from the countertop itself, with support points at the bottom for added stabilization. Sealing is achieved using special materials, such as silicone, around the hole under the edge. However, it should be noted that the lip may make cleaning more difficult, preventing water that spills on the countertop from being wiped directly into the basin.
