The vineyards of the Estate are located in central Evia, in the semi-mountainous region of Afrati and the village of Mytikas. Afrati is climatically influenced by Mount Dirfi (1743 m.). Being south of Dirfi, in its breeze, the vineyards enjoy the cold wind and the coolness that descends from the mountain and the north. The cold winter, the hot summer, and the dry autumn contribute to the excellent phenolic ripening of the grapes. All these are elements of a unique terroir, the microclimate of the vineyards of Avantis Estate.
