Designed to fit all the electronics required for a RepRap in a small package with low cost.

The modular design includes plugs for stepper motors and extruder control electronics in a protective Arduino MEGA shield for easy servicing, part replacement, upgrade, and expansion.

Capability to add multiple Arduino expansions to the system, provided the main RAMPS board is kept on top of the stack.
