Description

Description

One of the greatest Greek winemakers, Bakis Tsalkos, recently founded his own winery in his hometown, Doxato of Drama. From his monastery-style winery, he produces fine wines that are continuously gaining ground in the Greek market, while recently they seem to be conquering international markets, with the USA being the first and foremost.

The 2008 Deka Red is the flagship red of the Estate and it couldn't be anything but deserving of it. An amazing red wine from Merlot and Xinomavro, which after aging for 18 months separately in French barrels from 3 selected different forests, has acquired enviable complexity and depth!

It is certainly one of the wines that will particularly adorn our winter evenings and light up the festive table.
