The CS-1 is built as a horizontal speaker, with the front low-frequency port, while the tweeter is positioned in an elevated and tilted position. This special placement of the tweeter reduces diffusive sounds from the edges of the furniture and improves sound dispersion towards the listening area.

Designed for placement inside furniture, the CS-1 has a solid MDF construction with a durable and easy-to-maintain matte black lacquer. Adhesive rubber feet are included to prevent scratches on the furniture surface and to absorb vibrations between the furniture and the speaker. The CS-1 comes without a front grille to allow for the cleanest sound performance, e.g., behind fabric doors of TV furniture.
