Zecar, designed by Gaga Casari, is dedicated to fun and supporting important environmental initiatives. Proceeds from sales will be allocated to reforestation programs in Brazil. The goal is to plant thousands of trees annually to restore the Tropical Atlantic Forest.
Zecar is a simple toy car. Just push it and try to overcome small obstacles. It can glide on its back, and you don't need to push it hard, as it overcomes obstacles at its own steady pace.
To push Zecar, hold it from the front and back sides, and gently roll its tires on a surface. It has enough torque and moves relatively slowly. You can choose whether the friction will be from the front or rear wheels. Additionally, you can turn it upside down and glide it between its tires.
Zecar is not a racing car, nor a demolition car. It should be avoided from falling off tables or being used roughly.
The Mil Folhas program started in 1996 with the aim of reforesting a public area of 200,000 sq.m. in Brazil. All proceeds from Zecar, along with generous funding from Kikkerland, are entirely allocated to the Mil Folhas program. To date, Zecar has helped plant over 100,000 trees and will continue to support reforestation until all 300,000 trees are planted, thus completing the project.
