"Ticket to Ride: Europe" is the worthy successor to its predecessor - "Ticket to Ride".

The "American" version of the game has captured the hearts of players around the world. It quickly gained a reputation as one of the best family games, and the "Europe" edition is just as successful, drawing the best elements from the previous version and enhanced with new features.

New elements include:

• A game board depicting Europe in the early 20th century
• Railway station figures
• Significantly larger train cards (now easier to hold in hand)
• A number access that allows playing the game on the computer via the Internet
• New game rules

The latter introduces three key changes: ships (now trains can also travel by sea), tunnels (the European mountains will no longer be an insurmountable problem), stations (provide access to the opponent's railway line, and unused ones offer 4 victory points at the end of the game).

Less significant is the change that tickets for the longest routes are given to players at the beginning of the game, and tickets discarded by players are completely removed from the game.
