Well, I should note that I am a makeup artist and I have used similar products from other companies before.
It simply melts the makeup and that's all.
Balms from other companies, melt the makeup and after you wet your face with water, they "transform" into a face cleansing soap, they foam like any soap. Then you wash your face again with your cleanser and do your skincare routine.
This specific product does the same job that coconut oil would do, it just melts the makeup and spreads it around. If you wet it, it doesn't foam enough and you can't rinse it off. So you have to remove it with a tissue/towel... whatever works in the end.
It has a nice scent and it doesn't irritate my skin and eyes.
Overall, I won't buy it again. Beauty Bay has a similar product for almost the same price.
