They are manufactured according to Regulation A6 6404. The materials used for their construction and that come into contact with the injectable liquid are raw materials and not recycled. They are sterile, free from pyrogens, free from substances that cause hemolysis, and non-toxic. They do not contain substances that deactivate microbes.

The blunt end of the needle is sharp and free from protrusions and any other defects. The needle tube is straight and of normal wall thickness. The outer surface is smooth and no corrosion is observed. They come with a protective cover.

They are sterilized with ethylene oxide, which is also mentioned on the packaging (in the form of symbols). This method is patented and accepted in the European Community.

The needles are individually packaged. The packaging materials are plastic film and medical paper to ensure sterilization, according to Article 6 of Regulation A6 6404.

The packaging includes a description of the type in Greek, reference to the needle gauge, sterilization method, production and expiration date, manufacturing factory, etc.
